Pines OEM Factory Rebuild Procedure:
| Steps | ||||
1. Assessment – A team of seasoned engineers, mechanics, and electrical tradesmen are assigned to the machine being remanufactured. The team gathers and reviews the machines engineering records kept by Pines since your machines birth (There are over 30,000 hard copy engineering files holding every piece of data and nuance of the specific machine's original build). A review of the machines general condition, any special customer requirements, and new option additions is made and an action plan developed.
2. Disassembly – The machine is completely disassembled including brackets, support blocks, and manifold mounting hardware.
3. Shot Blasting – The machine is shot blasted, primed, and painted to the color of your choice.
4. Hydraulic – All hydraulic components are rebuilt or replaced (manifolds, valves, plumbing).
5. Machine Base – The tank assembly is inspected for leaks and repaired as necessary. New mounting hardware (Electrical standoffs, manifold brackets etc), pump, motor and pump bell housing are installed.
6. Stationary & Swing Arm Remanufacture – While the tank assembly is being repaired, the swing and stationary arms are being inspected and repaired as required on OEM Factory fixtures.
7. Machine Control – A new Pines control system is built in tandem as the other processes are being performed. New disconnect box, new control box, new control stand. The machine is brought up to the current level safety standards.
8. Re-assembly – The new and remanufactured parts are delivered to the assembly floor. The same skilled technicians that build the new tube benders perform the re-assembly process.
9. Inspection & Test – After assembly is complete, a 5 hour run test, 10 bend repeatability test, and 3 inspections are conducted. The same procedure used for new machines.
10. Service Department Sign Off – The machine does not leave the Pines Technology facility until all requirements are met. |
